KW Cares and Liberty Continue To Promise to Give Back To Charity

KW Cares and Liberty continue to give back to charities. These charities help those who are affected by natural disasters such as wildfires and droughts.

St. Louis, United States - July 30, 2018 /PressCable/ —

St. Louis, Missouri (July 30, 2018)- A local St. Louis charity called KW Cares offers disaster and emergency funding to the families of its associates. KW Cares is a non-profit that is the result of Keller Williams, a St. Louis based real estate company that has set aside time to give back. This public charity is now supported by associates from all across North America, including Liberty Consultants. The company attained 503 status, which allows them to accept donations on behalf of those in need. This includes men, women, and children across the country who have been affected from disasters such as wildfires and droughts.

KW Cares ends up giving a percentage of their donations to three different causes : 1) Homes For Our Troops, who donates homes to veterans who served in the military after 9-11; 2) Ryan’s Well, a charity that helps deprived countries secure clean water; and 3) the MD Anderson Cancer Center, which supports a multitude of programs working together to find a cure. The outgoing tithes complete a four-pronged approach to giving which KW Cares supports with tax-deductible, tax-exempt donations. Their status in line with the government as a 503 charity lends an air of trustworthiness, as the IRS does not grant such a leniency unless the operation is making a substantial difference.

KW Cares took in an abundant amount of donations last year that it became a struggle to keep up while running their own business. This is a good problem to have in which they ended up bringing another company into the fold. KW Cares teamed up with Liberty Consultants who is another St. Louis based real estate company who also seeks to give back. The two companies combined resources will help expand their access to potential donors where each cause should benefit from the exposure. Attorney tied to controversial case to host Buttigieg event

Oct 19, 2019

WASHINGTON — Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg is scheduled to attend a Chicago fundraiser that will be co-hosted by a former city attorney who vigorously tried to block the release of a video depicting the shooting of Laquan McDonald , a black teenager whose death at the hands of police stirred months of protest and resulted in an officer's conviction. Steve Patton , who led Chicago's law department under former Mayor Rahm Emanuel, is listed as a sponsor of the Friday event, according to an invitation obtained by The Associated Press. For months, Buttigieg has faced criticism over his handling...

UN: Afghan insurgents responsible for most 2019 casualties

Oct 19, 2019

KABUL, Afghanistan — Afghan civilians are dying in record numbers in the country's increasingly brutal war, noting that more civilians died in July than in any previous one-month period since the U.N. began keeping statistics, according to a U.N. report released Thursday. The report also said that for the first time this year insurgents were responsible for more casualties than U.S. and pro-government forces. Tadamichi Yamamoto, the U.N. secretary-general's special representative for Afghanistan, said neither side is doing enough to protect civilians. The report said 2,563 civilians were killed and 5,676 were wounded in the first nine months of this...

Pence's mission to Turkey could be his most significant yet

Oct 19, 2019

WASHINGTON — Vice President Mike Pence departs for Turkey to undertake arguably his most significant mission yet, seeking to halt a weeklong assault on Syrian Kurds begun after President Donald Trump withdrew U.S. forces from northern Syria. Pence was scheduled to leave Wednesday evening, just hours after Trump minimized the very crisis he sent his aides on an emergency mission to douse. The vice president heads a U.S. delegation that also includes Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and national security adviser Robert O'Brien. "If Turkey goes onto Syria, that's between Turkey and Syria, it's not between Turkey and the United...

Trump dismisses US stakes in Syria: "We're 7,000 miles away"

Oct 19, 2019

WASHINGTON — Washing his hands of America's presence in Syria, President Donald Trump declared Wednesday the U.S. has no stake in supporting the Kurdish fighters who died by the thousands as U.S. partners against Islamic State extremists. Condemnation of his stance was quick and severe, not only from Democrats but from Republicans who have been staunch Trump supporters on virtually all issues. The House, bitterly divided over the Trump impeachment inquiry, banded together for an overwhelming 354-60 denunciation of the U.S. troop withdrawal. Many lawmakers expressed worry that it may lead to revival of IS as well as Russian presence...

The Latest: Trump claims deliberate release of IS prisoners

Oct 19, 2019

WASHINGTON — The Latest on President Donald Trump and Syria (all times local): 1:55 p.m. President Donald Trump says members of the Islamic State group who were being held in prisons by Kurdish fighters in Syria have been deliberately released in an effort to make him look bad. But senior U.S. officials are casting doubt on those claims. Those officials say some Syrian Kurdish forces have moved north to fight Turkish troops who launched an attack across the border against the Kurds. The U.S. officials say other Kurds have stayed to guard the detention centers that hold thousands of IS...
