Morrison Moving Wins Two Diamond Awards in 2026 Best of Hamilton Readers' Choice Awards

Hamilton, Ontario Oct 23, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - HAMILTON, Ontario, October 15, 2026 - Morrison Moving, a Hamilton-based moving and storage company, has received two Diamond awards in the 2026 Best of Hamilton Readers' Choice Awards, associated with The Hamilton Spectator.

The company was recognized in two categories:

• Best Moving Company / Services - Diamond Winner

• Best Storage / Self-Storage - Diamond Winner

The results recognize Morrison Moving's work in two closely related areas of its business: helping customers relocate and providing storage solutions for residential and commercial needs.

The Best of Hamilton Readers' Choice Awards invite community members to recognize local businesses and service providers across a range of categories. Diamond is the highest award distinction displayed in the program's category results.

For Morrison Moving, receiving both distinctions in the same year marks an important milestone and provides an opportunity to acknowledge the customers and local residents who participated in the awards.

More Than 30 Years of Moving Industry Experience

Morrison Moving is owned by Michael Morrison, who brings more than 30 years of experience in the moving industry.

The company provides residential moving, commercial relocations, delivery services, and storage solutions throughout Hamilton and surrounding communities.

Its operations include a fleet of moving vehicles and a team of trained, uniformed movers who assist customers with the practical requirements of relocating homes and businesses.

Moving often involves coordinating schedules, protecting belongings, preparing furniture, arranging transportation, and managing access to properties. Morrison Moving approaches these responsibilities through advance planning, communication, and attention to the handling of customers' possessions.

The company's storage services also support customers who need additional flexibility during a move, renovation, property transition, or business relocation.

Receiving Diamond recognition in both moving and storage reflects the connection between these services and the importance of providing customers with practical options throughout the relocation process.

Owner Thanks Hamilton Community

Michael Morrison expressed appreciation for the recognition and acknowledged the contribution of the company's moving and storage teams.

"I am grateful to everyone who supported Morrison Moving in this year's Readers' Choice Awards. Receiving two Diamond awards is meaningful to me because moving and storage are both important parts of how we serve our customers. I appreciate the trust Hamilton families and businesses have placed in us, and I want to thank our team for the work they do every day," said Morrison.

The recognition follows another series of awards for Morrison Moving in 2026.

Earlier in the year, the company received three Platinum awards in CommunityVotes Hamilton, recognizing its Deliveries, Moving Services, and Self Storage categories.

While CommunityVotes and the Best of Hamilton Readers' Choice Awards are separate recognition programs, the results provide Morrison Moving with another opportunity to thank the local community for its support.

Continuing to Serve Hamilton and Surrounding Communities

Morrison Moving continues to provide moving and storage services for households, businesses, and property owners throughout the Hamilton region.

Residential moving services assist customers relocating between houses, apartments, and condominiums. Commercial moving services help businesses coordinate the transportation of office furniture, equipment, and other workplace belongings.

The company's storage and delivery services complement these operations, allowing customers to address different needs through one local service provider.

For Michael Morrison and his team, the two Diamond awards are a reminder of the importance of maintaining dependable service, careful handling, and clear communication throughout every move.
