OSG to question SC’s ‘judicial overreach’ in budget ruling

MANILA, Philippines — The Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) will question whether the Supreme Court (SC) committed “judicial overreach” in its ruling declaring certain provisions of the 2024, 2025 and 2026 national budgets unconstitutional, Solicitor General Darlene Berberabe said Thursday.
